A BioPerl workshop was held in Heidelberg, Germany in conjuction with ISMB1999.

German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg.
The lecture hall in the DKFZ communications center where the workshop was held.
During a break, a side meeting is held to talk about features planned for the next bioperl release.
During ISMB, an introduction meeting and planning session was held with some of the volunteers.
Ewan Birney & Steve Chervitz nail down code committments and responsibilities from volunteer developers.
